Burkina Faso

Even in our current world of technological advancements, nearly one billion people around the world live without power. Electricity has become a basic need in our modern present day with it being used for household appliances, in work places, and education. Everywhere you look electricity might be powering it in some sort of way and when it’s missing it can be a huge disadvantage for that community

If the concept of electricity wasn’t invented or achieved, our society wouldn’t have developed and we could not have advanced as much as we have. Energy poverty is an ongoing problem for developing nations around the world with Burkina Faso falling under that umbrella in a nation where less than 5% of the rural population have access to electricity.

Llah charity’s new found project is to help provide solar power to villages in Burkina Faso. The project started with providing the village of Bissighin with 3 solar panels. A donation of solar panels can help students study effectively, help store medications and food supplies, and help families and communities at large improve their living conditions.
