Llah charity has understood the lack of access to education and started its support for the educational system in Burkina Faso through the religious teachings in madrasas (schools).

We are currently working on providing religious learning material for girls and boys impacted by the ongoing conflict and insecurity. Llah charity has a future focus on expanding access to learning spaces and covering school fees for families. 

According to The World Factbook 2023 “The World’s 20 Most Illiterate Countries” article, Burkina Faso is the fourth most illiterate country with a 64% illiteracy rate, and 70% of them are women. 

Conflict and insecurity has tremendously affected countries like Burkina Faso, and lack of humanitarian assistance and displacement have significantly impacted education for children.
